Pre-Purchase Reminder for Natural Fiber Fabrics

Most fabrics in this shop (silk/linen/hemp/cotton/ramie/wool/alpaca/cashmere etc.) are dead stock/surplus stock, with the other portion being regular stock. All fabrics are brand new and unused, in their original condition. Every order is strictly inspected before shipping, and only fabrics with no major quality issues (e.g., holes, large irreparable stains, torn fabric structure) will be sent out.

Please note that natural fiber fabrics are not 100% perfect due to their material properties and production process. All natural fiber fabrics have inherent minor appearance imperfections (non-impacting on use), which are unique material characteristics (not quality defects) and common in both deadstock and regular stock.

Key Imperfections by Fabric Type

1. Linen/Ramie/Hemp: Natural slubs, skipped yarn loops, color specks, tiny yarn balls, loose lint balls, slight lint fall

2. Wool/Alpaca/Cashmere (especially knitted): Minor snags, small blemishes, natural slubs, slight yarn joins, minor pilling tendency, loose fleece, slight color neps, scattered loose threads. It is completely normal for these minor imperfections to be concentrated on the back, a common industry phenomenon that is by no means a quality issue. During production, priority is given to ensuring the smoothness and neatness of the front side—the key display surface. Minor flaws generated during weaving and finishing processes naturally gather on the back or non-front areas, and these parts will be fully concealed after sewing, which neither affects the appearance of the finished product nor impairs the fabric's core performance. For this reason, such minor backside imperfections are an inherent characteristic of natural fiber fabrics and not covered by return or exchange policies.

3. Silk/Cotton-linen: Light surface creases, minor color shade variations, fine loose threads, slight edge fraying

Universal Minor Marks (Storage/Transport)

Scattered loose threads (back threads hidden after sewing), small nicks on raw edge, tiny dust specks (cleanable with soft brush), minor creases from folding, slight lint accumulation, faint storage discoloration (recoverable), minor fraying on raw edge. All the above minor imperfections can be easily handled with simple material-specific methods, and will not affect the front appearance, fit, craftsmanship of the finished product, nor the fabric's core functional properties (wear resistance, drape, breathability etc.).

Fabric batches are updated continuously due to stock renewal. Slight differences in color shade, fabric texture and gram weight may exist between different batches within the normal range, which is a normal phenomenon of mass production and not a quality problem.

There may be some minor nicks, notches or gaps on the selvedge due to storage and handling.
To ensure your actual usable width, we usually mark the fabric width approx. 5cm smaller than the actual size (e.g., marked 145cm, actual approx. 150cm).
The marked width is your exclusive usable width, with all raw edge imperfections excluded.

Fabric is precisely cut to the length you order, double-checked before shipping. All fabrics are cut by hand, so the cut may be a little crooked/off straight, and minor measurement errors may occur.

Return & Exchange Policy

No returns or exchanges will be accepted for fabrics with the above-mentioned inherent minor imperfections of natural fiber materials, small nicks on raw edges, normal batch differences (color, texture, gram weight), and slight manual cutting errors (without affecting actual use). This policy is fully compliant with Etsy’s guidelines for disclosed natural fiber fabrics and dead stock or surplus fabrics.

Our fabrics are made of natural or blended materials.
Subtle variations in texture, color, knots, slubs, spots, creases and weave details are part of the unique character of the material, not flaws.

As dead stock fabric or surplus fabric, there may be minor processing details or light production marks, which do not affect the function or quality of the item.

Colors may appear slightly different due to lighting and screen settings.

Please consider carefully if you prefer absolutely flawless condition.
